Although there is no history of breast cancer in my family I do have several friends that have been affected by this unfortunate disease. I HOPE for the day we can go for our check up without fear. I PRAY for the day when cancer is no longer a part of our lives. I have FAITH that the hard work of women like the Mississippi Melons will not go unnoticed - we will find a cure!

Why do I walk? I walk for OUR mothers, our grandmothers, our daughters, our aunts, our sisters, our wives, our husbands, our sons, our brothers, our fathers, our grandfathers, our uncles. I walk for everyone that is affected by this disease. I walk for those who are unable to walk themselves.

Breast cancer does not discriminate nor does breast cancer care what shape the economy is in. I understand it is very difficult to dig in your pocket and donate money but remind yourself – I, one day, may need the benefit of what causes I donate to today. Services are also needed for our annual golf tournaments if you are unable to donate monetarily.
